PANORAMA BRASIL PRESENTS A NIGHT OF CLASSIC SAMBA
Panorama Brasil wrap up 2026 with an all-star line-up and a brand new show at the Paris Cat Jazz Club. This show pays tribute to the classic sambas of songwriters such as Cartola, Ary Barroso, Noel Rosa and more. The stunning vocals of Dany Maia and Jacqueline Gawler lead this incredible band.
More than just a tribute, this show is an exploration of Brazil's greatest songwriters and singers. The complex, poetic genius of Cartola collides with the street-smart wit of Noel Rosa in a night of deep samba grooves and intricate harmonies. With authentic percussion and soaring vocals, the band will tear through the golden era of samba, proving exactly why these timeless compositions remain the beating heart of Rio.

Panorama Brasil return to the Paris Cat with guest vocalist Dany Maia. This show pays tribute to the great songwriters and lyricists of Brazil, with the stunning vocals and vibrant energy of Dany Maia leading this incredible band. From the earliest days of samba, Brazil has produced lyricists capable of social insight, cutting wit and subtle beauty. From the protest songs of the dictatorship eras, to the intimacy of bossa nova, onto MPB and beyond. Panorama Brasil presents incredible songs from some of Brazil’s greatest modern poets including Djavan, Milton Nascimento, Jobim, Edu Lobo and Chico Buarque in an all-encompassing journey.
